SOLD!!! NO LONGER AVAILABLE - In 2006 Volkswagen initiated a campaign in which the company gave away special edition First Act guitars along with the purchase of a Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, Rabbit, New Beetle, or New Beetle Convertible. The stereos in these Volkswagens could be used as an amplifier for the guitar. 
An accompanying ad campaign featured guitarists Slash, John Mayer, and Nigel Tufnel of Spinal Tap playing First Act guitars through the sound systems of Volkswagen automobiles.
Equipped with 2 humbucker pickups, these double-cutaway body guitars were finished in a white nitrocellulose gloss, and highlighted with a pickguard matching the exterior of the car it came with - either black, navy blue, red, or white celluloid. The indicator light for the preamp was blue in order to match the instrument cluster in Volkswagen cars at the time.
Branding included the VW logo on the 12th fret, the top of the knobs, the neck plate, and the VW sign on the truss rod cover. This guitar sells for (SOLD- NO LONGER AVAILABLE! )$350 and is available for pickup in Montgomery, Alabama.
