It was hand-made in Mittenwald, Germany - the center of German violinmaking. It was made before 1985, is in fair condition, and comes with a hard-shell case, a horse-hair bow, chin rest, and rosin. A.R. Seidel violins regularly sell for $250 - $350 in used condition. It does have an aged repaired crack which does not affect the sound.
